Posted June 4th: Attention of support personnel is called to NOR A8. For the purposes of this rule, the jury interprets the racing area as the rectangle extending 100 metres from the starting line together with the area within 100 metres of the course axis. In addition to this, the area within 50 metres of any boat that is racing is included in the racing area.

Posted June 4th: Spot Weigh in Process. There will be 4 boats randomly selected for spot weigh in checks at the end of each day of racing. These boats will be notified by VHF Channel 68 radio by the RC before the last race of the day. In addition, a notice will be posted on the official noticeboard and a volunteer will attempt to notify these competitors as they dock at VIM. Competitors will have 1 hour after the end of protest time to complete weigh in. Weigh in will be carried out in the same location in the VIM building as the weigh in done during registration. Crews found to be in excess of the class weight limit, will be penalized as per the class rules and will be required to reweigh the next morning between 0730 and 0830 in order to entitled to continue racing
